October is a busy month for students battling midterms, but that doesn’t mean there’s no room for fun! We have two AWESOME events this month that are sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face.
NSU Foundation
The Northeastern State University Foundation empowers students and alumni to pursue their academic goals by providing scholarships and other funding. Founded in 1971, the Foundation has helped lessen the financial barrier of education and research faced by many students — for over four decades. Sundance Office is proud to be a supporter of the program, having donated through our Sundance Cares program for three years!

Tulsa Dog Run: By Your Side
Hosted by the Parkside Psychiatric Hospital & Clinic, the Tulsa Dog Run is back! Sign up to join the cutest marathon in the nation on October 7th. The run also features several contests for your pup: dress them up in their best costume, show off their coolest trick, and have a blast!
The Tulsa Dog run raises money for Parkside’s By Your Side Patient Assistance Program, which provides essential resources to those in need. This event lets you and your pup have a GREAT Saturday — while also helping you make a difference in the lives of your fellow Tulsans.
5k runners and walkers will receive a water bottle donated by Sundance in their swag bag! We had a lot of fun making it and hope you have a lot of fun at the run!
Hallowmarine at the Oklahoma Aquarium
Yar har Mateys, it’s time for HALLOWMARINE! From October 25th-31st, visit the Oklahoma Aquarium for a night of fun, learning, and CANDY!
This fun for the family event features an indoor trick-or-treat trail, a bounce house with an obstacle course, the aquarium carousel, and all of our lovely aquatic friends!
Get your costumes ready and grab your tickets… we’re excited to see you at the trick-or-treat trail!
With fall fast approaching, there’s a lot to look forward to this month. Kick October off with some fun in the sun — at the Tulsa Dog Run! Enjoy the breeze as we (hopefully!) start to cool down. It’s not sweater weather yet, but it’s on the way. End on a high note and celebrate Halloween with the Oklahoma Aquarium, where kids enjoy a unique and educational trick-or-treat experience!
